Where is the MS State Fair located?
The MS State Fair will be held at the MS State Fairgrounds:
1207 Mississippi St, Jackson, MS 39202
HOW MUCH ARE ADMISSION TICKETS?
- $10 Gate Admission ($8 Pre-Sale Tickets available online from now until October 2nd)
- FREE Admission for Children 5 and under
- Free Admission Weekdays 11am-1pm
How do I redeem my fair tickets if I bought them online?
If you bought your general admission tickets online, you will need to have the QR code that was sent to your email ready to be scanned at one of our 7 entrance points.
How do I redeem my ride wristbands if I bought them online?
If you bought a ride wristband online, you will need to have the QR code that was sent to your email ready to be scanned at one of the NAME kiosks inside of the fair.
WHERE IS PARKING?
MAY I BRING MY PET TO THE FAIR?
Pets are NOT allowed; however, a service animal is permitted for individuals with a disability. Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. All service animals must remain on a leash or harness and may not be left unattended. Service animal behavior is the responsibility of the owner, and you will be asked to leave the Fair if its behavior becomes a threat to the safety of another guest or employee. We do not have accommodations for pets at the fairgrounds.
CAN I BRING BULL HORNS, AIR HORNS, MEGAPHONES, OR SIMILAR ITEMS INTO THE FAIR?
Bull horns, air horns, megaphones, and similar items are NOT allowed. Please leave these items at home or in your vehicle prior to entering the fairgrounds. Use of these items on the fairgrounds is strictly prohibited and will result in the item being confiscated and could result in you being removed from the Fair.
CAN I BRING LARGE SIGNS, LARGE PROPS, OR SIMILAR ITEMS INTO THE FAIR?
Large signs or props are NOT allowed. Please leave them at home or in your vehicle prior to entering the fairgrounds. Use of these items on the fairgrounds will result in confiscation of related materials and could result in you being removed from the Fair.
CAN I FLY DRONE/UAV/UAS AT THE FAIR?
Drones, quad-copters and/or any type of remote controlled craft are NOT allowed on the fairgrounds. The Mississippi State Fair prohibits the use of all remote controlled devices of any type, including, but not limited to, aircraft, drones, quad-copters, cars or trucks, on property owned, leased or controlled by the Fair. Operation of such remotely controlled aircraft or ground vehicle devices without prior written consent of the Mississippi State Fair or proper law enforcement authority will result in the confiscation of all related materials, you being removed from Fair property, and/or prosecution under Mississippi law.
CAN I RIDE A BICYCLE, SKATEBOARD OR ROLLER BLADE AT THE FAIR?
In the interest of the overall safety for our guests, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, roller skates, and/or other wheeled forms of transportation are prohibited inside the gates (wagons to transport small children are approved).
WILL ATM MACHINES BE AVAILABLE AT THE FAIR?
Yes, ATMs will be located throughout the fairgrounds.
WHERE IS THE LOST & FOUND?
The lost and found is located in the trailer next to the Michelob Ultra Tent and Barn 12.
WHAT IF MY CHILD GETS LOST OR SEPARATED FROM ME WHILE AT THE FAIR?
Go to the Lost & Found Tent, located at next to he Michelob Ultra Tent in Barn 12.
WHERE ARE THE BABY CHANGING STATIONS
Restrooms at the fair are equipped with changing stations.
MINORS AT THE FAIR POLICY
Beginning at 9:00 p.m., any guest under the age of eighteen (18) seeking admission to the Fairgrounds must be accompanied by a legal adult (21 or older). Any guest may be asked to show official proof of age to be admitted after 9:00 p.m. When entering the Midway, all guests will proceed through one (1) of the seven (7) entry security points utilizing a metal detector, and/or be subject to magnetic wanding.
